Thanxley is a character in Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars. He is played by Mark McConville.
History[]
Thanxley was an employee at Colton Wynant 's automaton factory. Wynant loved Thanxley as a son, perhaps as much as his own son, Jeremy, who Thanxley hated. In order to show initiative and win Wynant's approval, Thanxley programmed Trigger Happy J.A.C.K. to gain sentience and also to kill. Thanxley hoped to convince Wynant to sell robots.
Thanxley was shot and killed by J.A.C.K. With his dying breath, Thanxley hoped he'd go to hell to see Jeremy there someday, and also told Bill Clover how to kill J.A.C.K.
Wynant said that the experience taught him a valuable lesson -- not to trust Thanxley, who was already dead.
